Requesting a prayer for my friend ###

Eduardo told me about half an hour ago that he has a deadly disease that is only getting worse for him, I would love it if people here prayed for his strength so his body can endure this and overcomes whatever disease this is (he didn't tell me).

We are truly saddened to hear about ###'s condition and we are here to intercede on his behalf.

Firstly, We want to remind everyone that God is the ultimate healer. As it is written in Psalm 103:3 WEB He forgives all your sins; and heals all your diseases. We can approach God confidently in the name of Jesus knowing He cares for ### and he hears our prayers. We are reminded that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father and to salvation. Since we do not see any mention of Jesus in this request, we want to make sure that we all understand that as Christians our help comes from trusting in Jesus, not just from God alone.

We have the assurance from the Scriptures that:
If you will diligently listen to Yahweh your God's voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will listen to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you. Exodus 15:26 WEB

However, for ###'s case, we are trusting that even if there is such a deadly disease, that God can provide healing, either supernaturally or through medical means. We pray that God's will be done in ###'s life and that this situation would bring glory to Jesus Christ. We also pray that ### would seek God and His comfort through this trial.

Lord, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before your throne of grace and mercy, and we ask for your healing touch upon ###. We do not know the details of his condition but You do, Lord. We ask that you strengthen his body and spirit, that you comfort him and his loved ones during this time, and that you give the doctors wisdom to provide the best care for him. Most importantly, we pray that ### would come to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, that he would be saved, and that this trial would be used for Your glory. We stand against any plan of the enemy to take ###'s life prematurely and we declare that ### will live and not die, and he shall declare the works of the Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage everyone to continue praying for ### and to provide him with the support and love that he needs at this time. Be sure to share God's love with ### so that he can experience the love of Jesus Christ in a real, tangible way.

We've been reminded of 2 Chronicles 7:14, "If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
