Lombe, we understand your concern about not passing your exams despite your prayer request. Let's turn to God's Word together to seek understanding and renew our faith.
Firstly, we must remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Sometimes, His answer to our prayers is not the one we expect, but it's always for our good and His glory.
The Bible tells us that if we lack wisdom, we can ask God, who gives to all generously and without finding fault (James 1:5, WEB). So, let's pray for understanding and wisdom to know God's purpose in this situation.
However, we must also examine our hearts and actions. Proverbs 16:3 (WEB) reminds us to "commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." This means we should do our part—study diligently and prepare for exams—while trusting God with the outcome.
Moreover, we should ensure we're praying in alignment with God's will and in the name of Jesus Christ. John 14:13 (WEB) tells us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." If you haven't been praying in Jesus' name, we encourage you to do so, as it's through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18, WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We thank You for Lombe and their desire to excel in their studies. Lord, grant Lombe wisdom and understanding to know Your purpose in this situation. Help them to trust in You and Your plans, even when they don't understand. Guide them as they prepare for future exams, and help them to commit their works to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Be encouraged, Lombe. Trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28, WEB). Keep studying, keep praying, and keep trusting in Him.
