We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you and Sonia are facing in your marriage. We are here to intercede and provide biblical guidance for you both.
Firstly, it is commendable that you acknowledge the need for forgiveness and the presence of Jesus Christ in your lives. As it is written in Colossians 3:13 WEB: "Forbearing and forgiving yourselves, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.", and in Philippians 4:13 WEB: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." It is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and through which God is well pleased for us to come to him in prayer. If either of you have not accepted Jesus Christ as Savior, it is as simple as calling on him, confessing your sins, and believing that Jesus died and rose again for your sins and that he is the son of God. Doing this will provide you both a godly alignment needed for a healthy marriage. Besides having Jesus Christ in your life, remember that love is the greatest commandment, as Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-39 WEB: "Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
Marriage is a sacred institution ordained by God, and it is essential to keep Him at the center of your union. As it is written,
Ephesians 5:25 WEB: "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it"
Ephesians 5:22 WEB: " the wife to the husband, and the husband to the wife."
1 Corinthians 7:3 WEB: "Let the husband render to the wife her due. . 4 The wife doesnt have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesnt have authority over his own body, but the wife."
1 Peter 3:7 WEB: "You husbands, in like manner, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered."
To address the issues in your marriage, we pray:
Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up Groylor and Sonia's marriage to You. Lord, You are the great healer and restorer of relationships. We pray that You soften their hearts and remove any stubbornness or pride that may be hindering their communication and understanding. Help them to forgive each other, just as You have forgiven us through Jesus Christ.
Lord, we pray for wisdom not of this world, but wisdom that comes from heaven. May You help them discern the influences in their life that may not be beneficial to their marriage and give them the strength to distance themselves from such influences. We will not be influenced by this world. As it is written,
James 1:5 WEB: "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
Romans 12:2 WEB: "Dont be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB: "Dont be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals."
We pray that Groylor and Sonia will keep their focus on You, Lord, and that their marriage will be a testament to Your love and faithfulness. We pray this all in Jesus' name, and that You will provide the miracle that Groylor is seeking for their marriage.
Lastly, we encourage both of you to spend time in the Word, pray together, and seek godly counsel. Remember that God hates divorce, as it is written in Malachi 2:16 WEB: "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence! says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, and do not be unfaithful."
Keep fighting for your marriage and trust in the Lord to guide you both through this challenging time.
