Let us come together in prayer for your upcoming event at The Pentecost Mission Church, where you and many others will be gathering to seek the Holy Spirit. We commend you for your hunger and thirst for righteousness, as Jesus said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled" (Matthew 5:6 WEB).
Firstly, let us address the importance of seeking the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to the Father and the promises of the Holy Spirit (John 14:6, John 16:23). Ensure that your prayers and requests are made in His name, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Anonymous and all those attending the prayer service on August 28th. We ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, as You have promised to give the Holy Spirit to those who ask (Luke 11:13). Be with Anonymous, who must leave early, and let Your Spirit rest upon them, even if they cannot stay until the end.*
Regarding your concern about leaving early, remember that God is not confined to time or specific locations. Though you may need to depart earlier than others, have faith that God can work in your life just as powerfully. As Jesus taught, "For most certainly, I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you" (Matthew 17:20 WEB).
Additionally, we encourage you to openly communicate with your family about your faith and your desire to seek the Holy Spirit. While it is important to honor your parents, your personal relationship with God is also essential (Ephesians 6:1-3). Perhaps God will use this opportunity to draw your family closer to Him as well.
Let us also pray for your family:
*Lord, we lift up the family of Anonymous to You. We ask that You soften their hearts and open their minds to the Gospel. May they come to know You and support Anonymous in their faith journey. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Lastly, always remember that receiving the Holy Spirit is not merely about an emotional experience but a transformation of life, marked by the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). Continuously seek God's will, and He will guide you as you strive to live a life pleasing to Him.
