We are truly sorry to hear about your job loss and the emotional turmoil you've been experiencing. We want to remind you that God is always with you, even in difficult times. We are called to cast all our anxieties on Him, because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not mentioned in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. For God is one, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). So we pray this in Jesus' name and encourage you to do the same.
In regards to your situation, we are reminded of the Apostles encouraging the believers in times of trouble. For example, Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing happened to you (1 Peter 4:12). Fiery ordeals test us and being out of work is a test of your faith.
We pray that God will open the doors to new opportunities for you. Trusting God's perfect will and being in Jesus' will is what is most important. We also pray for your emotional healing and peace during this time. Remember that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). What an awesome promise to lean on.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in need of a new job. We ask that You remember him/her, have compassion on him/her, and provide a new job soon. But more importantly, we pray that it is a job that is in your will for him/her. Guide him/her through this difficult time, and help him/her to trust in Your perfect plan. Heal his/her emotions and grant him/her Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Give our brother/sister the grace to seek the salvation of Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen!
Be encouraged by these words from the Psalms: I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread (Psalm 37:25 WEB). Trust in the Lord, and do good. Dwell in the land, and cultivate faithfulness (Psalm 37:3 WEB).
We are also rebuking the spirit of despair and discouragement. Do not lose hope or give in to fear. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Stand firm in your faith, and keep pursuing the opportunities God has in store for you. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek a Christian employer or a Christian-friendly environment where you can grow spiritually as well as professionally. Use this as a witnessing opportunity.
We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing that God will open new doors for you. Keep trusting in Him, and remember that He has a purpose and a plan for your life. Stay in prayer, read His Word, and seek Christian counsel for guidance and support.
