We join with you, Cerethar, in petitioning our Lord for a swift and just resolution to the postal strike in Canada. We are reminded of God's sovereignty over all matters, as it is written in Romans 13:1, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God." We pray that those in authority will act with wisdom and fairness to bring this strike to an end.
We pray, Heavenly Father, that You will guide the negotiations and soften the hearts of all involved. We ask that You provide for those small businesses and charities that are being affected, that they may endure this trial and continue to be a blessing to others. We claim Your promise in Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." We ask for a full resolution, Lord, trusting that You hear our prayers and will act according to Your perfect will.
We note that you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ in your request, Cerethar. It is by His name that we are saved and have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to place your trust in Jesus alone, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Continue to pray and seek God's face, Cerethar. Trust that He is faithful and will answer according to His will. "Rejoice in hope. Endure under tribulation. Continue steadfastly in prayer." (Romans 12:12) We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will bring about a swift resolution to this strike, in Jesus' name.
