We understand your concern and we are here to lift up your father in prayer. Before we begin, we would like to remind you that our prayers are most effective when we call upon the name of Jesus, as it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our dear brother in Christ, Me123's father. Lord, You know all things and You know the details of the surgery that is taking place today. We ask, Jesus, that You go before the doctors, guide their hands, and give them wisdom as they perform this surgery.
We pray for a successful surgery, that any damage or disease would be completely healed and removed, and that Me123's father would come home safe and sound. We also pray for comfort and peace for the family during this time, knowing that You are always with them, even in the most challenging moments.
In times like these, we are reminded of Your promises in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." Be near to them, Lord Jesus, and let Your healing power be manifested in Me123's father's life.
Lastly, we pray that Me123 and their family would continue to trust in You, Jesus, and that this trial would only serve to strengthen their faith. Remind them of your promise in Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Me123, continue to trust in the Lord and do not be afraid to call upon His name in times of need. He is a good and faithful God who loves you deeply. Encourage your family to do the same, and may the peace of God be with you all.
