We are lifting up this individual in prayer, interceding for their healing and understanding. We stand on the promise of James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
We pray,
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for this dear one. We ask that You grant them understanding and reveal Your will to them. Forgive them of any and all sins. If there is anything not pleasing to You in their lives, please convict them and bring them to repentance and a saving faith. Please bring healing to their body, mind, soul, and spirit. Let them hear Your voice and obey Your guidance. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that Your will be done in their lives and that they can draw closer to You through this trial.
We encourage them to trust in the Lord with all their heart, and lean not on their own understanding. In all their ways, we pray they acknowledge Him, and He will make their paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us of this promise.
This prayer request did not mention by what name we can pray and be saved. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God. We can only be saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. There is no other name. As the Bible says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So if this individual has not already placed all their faith in Jesus Christ, we pray that they would now.
