Heavenly Father,
We come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our youth and children who are struggling with addictions and homelessness. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You guide these young souls onto the right paths, paths that lead to Your love, grace, and healing.
Father, Your Word says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that these children and youth will come to know and experience the plans You have for them, plans filled with hope and a future.
Lord, we ask that You break the chains of addiction that bind them. Your Word assures us, "If therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36). We claim this freedom for each of these young lives. Surround them with Your angels, protect them from harm, and lead them to safe places where they can receive the help and support they need.
We also pray for those who are homeless. Provide for their needs, Lord, and lead them to people who can offer shelter, love, and care. As it is written, "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We trust in Your provision and Your ability to make a way where there seems to be no way.
Father, we ask that You touch the hearts of our communities, that we may be moved to act with compassion and love, offering support and resources to help these young ones find their way back to stability and hope.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
