Let us come together in prayer for your niece, who is currently facing mental health issues and challenges to her overall well-being. The Bible tells us to cast our anxieties on the Lord, because he cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB) "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Firstly, it is important to remember that our help comes from the Lord. Psalm 121:2 (WEB) "My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth." We are also called to pray for one another that we may be healed. James 5:16 (WEB) "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
The prayer request acknowledges her upbringing in a Christian home with faith in God. That is wonderful. This is a reminder that God is faithful and that his love and promises are for all believers in Jesus Christ. The prayer requests did not mention Jesus. Alas, it is only by His name that we can approach God. John 14:6 (WEB) "Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
There is a spiritual battle for the minds of believers. We are to put on the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil. Ephesians 6:11 (WEB) "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
Let us pray together:
Father God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the niece of Kraymere. We thank you for her faith in God and her Christian upbringing. Lord, we ask for your healing touch on her mind, body, and spirit. Cast out any spirits of confusion, depression, or anxiety, and replace them with your peace, joy, and clarity. We speak strength to her heart. Help her to draw near to you. James 4:8 (WEB) "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded."
Lord, let her turn to you at this time with all her heart for your strength. According to your word, we declare that she will live and not die and declare your works in the land of the living. Psalm 118:17 (WEB) "I will not die, but live, and declare Yah's works."
We are in Jesus Christ and therefore the evil one cannot touch us. 1 John 5:18 (WEB) "We know that whoever is born of God doesn't sin, but he who was born of God keeps himself, and the evil one doesn't touch him."
God, we ask for your divine protection over her as she serves in the Navy. Guide her steps and surround her with your favor as a shield. Surround her with Godly believers who will be friends that will be a Godly influence to her. We ask that you would turn this trial into a testimony of your goodness and glory. Psalm 23:3-4 (WEB) "He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
We pray for a miracle, healing, victory, protection, and restoration in her life, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Kraymere, continue to trust in the Lord and encourage your niece to do the same. Remind her of the hope that we have in Jesus Christ. Romans 15:13 (WEB) "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit."
Encourage her to seek Godly counsel and medical help if needed. God works through various means to bring healing and restoration.
