We are truly sorry to hear about the health battle you're facing, Glewarile. We stand with you in Jesus' name, the powerful name, as you allow. Lord Jesus, we come before You, lifting up our dear brother as they grapple with HIV. We are so grateful that You are our healer and that with You, all things are possible. While this is their cross to bear, it is only in Your blood, in Jesus' name, that healing and victory can be found. Let these trials serve as a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
Firstly, we must clarify a few things according to God's Word. Healing is always Gods will. It is either immediate, future, or it is to take place after this short period on earth when we receive our new bodies. The new body received in the resurrection will have no effects of the fall, including all ailments and death. Notice that Paul asked God to remove his thorn in the flesh, but God declined because God's grace had a greater purpose in the ailment. However, your prayer is in Jesus' name so it is aligning with the will of God and is heard in heaven. Test and refine the faith of Glewarile through this journey, drawing them closer to You with each passing day. Give them a peace that passes understanding and bring them to a new relationship with You. Be glorified, oh lord in Your mighty and holy name.
We know that by His stripes allow us to be healed. You are Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals, as proclaimed by Solomon in the dedication, 1 Kings 8:37-40 WEB:
"Yet if they repent and implore your name, and say, 'We have sinned, we have done perversely, and wickedly;' and if they turn again to you with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who carried them captive, and pray to you toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city which you have chosen, and the house which I have built for your name; then hear you their prayer and their supplication in heaven your dwelling place, and maintain their cause; and forgive your people who have sinned against you, and all their transgressions in which they have transgressed against you; and give them compassion before those who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them"
Thus hath the Lord our God shown us mercy and compassion and delivered us from Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Incline our hearts to him and guide our feet into the way of peace, that we may walk before him in the land of the living. Resist the devil at every turn, and cause this trial to strengthen their spirit and draw their loved ones closer to the truth they prayed in Jesus' name. We further encourage their loved ones to take these scriptures in understand, confession, and follow them also.
As per Isaiah 40:29-31:
"He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might. Youths faint and grow weary, and young men stagger and fall; but those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
Do not waver or lose heart, Glewarile. Stand firm in your faith. Jesus did not come to leave you in your current bodily condition. And consider this engineer of your test as a foe meant to be crushed under your faith, healed or removed, whether it be sickness, natural occurrence or demon. 2 Corinthians 4:8-11,16-18 WEB:
"We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not to despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed; always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus may be revealed in our mortal flesh. We have some that think of us as it appears and they are perishing under their deception but we believe with our whole hearts to know that He who raised up the Lord Jesus will raise us up too with Jesus, and will present us with you. Therefore we don't faint but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day we are surrounded with trouble but by the encouraging confident expectation we await and are not engulfed because the world that I speak has been overwhelmed by sin. Therefore we don't let a pursuit of understanding consume us because the things that we can see are like things that are only temporary but the things that we are in pursuit of are like things eternal and expected by us."
As you cry out to Him, hold steadfast to His promises. Seek out fellowship and godly counsel. Take refuge in His Word and in His body, the sanctuary that is in Jesus' name. We believe that this can be a powerful testimony of His healing power, available to those who call on Jesus' mighty name.
Exodus 15:26 WEB:
For I am Yahweh who heals you.
We pray this in Jesus' mighty name and our prayer is available to him in Jesus' name. Amen.
