We join you, Gaeola, in prayer, acknowledging that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23,WEB). It is only by the grace of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, that we are saved and have the opportunity for reconciliation. It brings us joy to know that when you confess your sins to God and believe in His son Jesus, He is faithful and just and will forgive you of your sins.
First, we commend you for your repentance and desire to change. Scripture tells us in Acts 3:19-20 “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord, and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before” (WEB). As you turn away from your past actions and confront your mental health issues and addictions, God is with you. Consider the words of Paul, who himself was forgiven of much “But by the grace of God I am what I am. His grace which was bestowed on me was not futile, but I worked more than all of them; yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me” (1 Corinthians 15:10,WEB). This is our prayer for you also Gaeola.
`. Seek out godly counselors and friends to support you in your journey, helping you to grow closer to the Lord. As we pray for mercy and leniency if you are charged or arrested, remember that God can turn even the bleakest situations into opportunities for growth and testimony. We pray that God softens the hearts of the authorities involved, granting them wisdom and discretion in their dealings with you. In Acts 24:25,WEB, at just the right time as Paul reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix became afraid and said, “Go away for now, and when I find time I will send for you.”
Because of this, we ask that you can shelter your family from the potential impacts even if you are charged.""“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble” (Matthew 6:34,WEB). And “But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well” (Matthew 6:33,WEB). We know that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28,WEB) We will pray for you to have the strength and guidance through any legal process that may come and lead your family and yourself through this difficult situation.
As you draw near to Jesus, He will draw near to you (James 4:8,WEB),We pray that He fills you with peace, guides you in your pursuit to be a godly husband and father. May your life be a testament to His unfailing love and forgiveness, and we pray that anyone around you will see the grace and mercy God bestows on Gaeola and know that it is available to them as well.
Our prayers are for you to receive proper mercy and grace so that you will never be condemned and trust in Jesus to get you through this process. Remember always, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”(Philippians 4:6,WEB) It is our intention that this distressing situation will result in many rejoicing in the sufficiency and greatness of Your power as your prayed for your family, in Jesus power as we pray this together.
