Repossession and losing ###

In the name of Jesus Christ I'm struggling. I've been going through struggles for years. The domestic abuse went on for years. When my ex-husband asked for a divorce I agreed, but he dragged the divorce out for ### years. Whilst going through the divorce I was battling ### asking them to repair the property when I got divorced. ### was appointed to resolve the issues. But ### changed my case since ###. Although I won my case, the council failed to do the works, and the £### ### and the council won't pay me back. I've been trying to go back into court to force the order for the repairs and I'm being blocked, and now I've lost my home. My ex-husband said he would buy the property for £### and I must sign a tenancy agreement and pay monthly payments. If after ### months I cannot buy the property, it would be sold. Jesus Christ, please guide me, make the right decision. I feel this is the wrong decision for me to make, but I want to keep my children together and help others in my situation in my community. In Jesus Christ's name, send me a message and protect me from any bad feelings towards me. Let my ex-husband be truthful. I'm fearful of signing a contract and being a tenant to my ex-husband. Please, in Jesus Christ's name, guide me. Amen.

In times of trouble, we should first trust in God and His sovereignty. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

Regarding your situation, it is clear that you are facing a complex legal and financial battle, and it is important to seek godly counsel and wisdom. The Bible tells us to seek wisdom. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 WEB.

It is commendable that you want to keep your children together and help others in your community. The Bible encourages us to care for our families. But if anyone doesn't provide for their own, and especially their own household, they have denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever. 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB.

However, it is crucial to ensure that your decisions align with biblical principles and wisdom. The agreement your ex-husband is proposing should be carefully considered. The Bible warns us against making hasty decisions and entangling ourselves in unfavorable agreements. Do not be among those who give pledges, among those who become collateral for debts. If you have nothing with which to pay, why should he take away your bed from under you. Proverbs 22:26-27 WEB.

Additionally, the Bible advises us to be wise in our dealings with others, especially in legal matters. Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves Matthew 10:16 WEB. It may be beneficial to seek legal counsel from a different solicitor or a Christian legal aid organization to ensure your rights and interests are protected.

Regarding your fears about signing a contract and becoming a tenant to your ex-husband, it is important to trust in God and not be driven by fear. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB. Pray for discernment and wisdom, and do not rush into any decision without peace and clarity from God.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is facing immense struggles. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in her life, her family, and her legal battles. Grant her the wisdom and discernment needed to make the right decisions, and guide her steps according to Your will.

Lord, we pray for her ex-husband, that he may deal truthfully and fairly. We ask that You soften his heart and bring conviction upon him. Lord, we also pray for the solicitors and the council, that they may act justly and in accordance with the law.

Father, we ask for Your protection over our sister and her children. Surround them with Your peace, and let Your love be a comfort to them during this difficult time. Lord, we ask that You provide for their needs, and that You guide them to the right resources and people who can help them.

Lord, we pray for healing and restoration for our sister and her family. We ask that You bring an end to the struggles they have been facing, and that You bring forth a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness from this situation.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
