We rejoice with you, Gegromos, as you seek a fresh start with God. Repentance and being born again are truly gifts from above. However, we should clarify that true repentance does show a desire to stop actions that are against the will of God. We must show the fruit of repentance. However, we must realize that true born again salvation experience has already been done. You do not need to be born again and again. When you accepted Christ, and repented from your ways you were saved, that is a work of grace and not of your own power. It is great you want to turn to God more as a Christian Believer. We should thank God for our salvation and submit to Him on a daily basis. As seen in Acts 3:19 WEB: "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord,"
Let us pray together for your walk with Jesus Christ. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother Gegromos. Lord, strengthen his faith and help him to live a life fully surrendered to You. We are asking this in Jesus name as there is no other way to God Yourself. Help him and us to die to ourselves daily and live for You as we are already born again. As Christians, we need to be aware daily of how we are living. Thank You that You are willing to work in our lives to make us more like Jesus. Guide Him and all of us as Christians through Your Holy Spirit and Your Word, helping him grow stronger in faith and relationship together. Give him a better undertanding of your grace and the knowledge of his salvation. Make the Word of God alive to him and help him apply it every day. Lord, shower him with Your unfailing love and grace, and fill him with the assurance of eternal life that you have already given. Give him a heart to repent as a believer and obey Your will as he has made a 180 degree turn to live like Jesus and follow Him. We pray this believing in the beautiful and wonderful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Turning to God wholeheartedly, confessing our sins, and submitting ourselves entirely to Jesus in our lives is how God will start a work in you. You as a Christian are saved by grace through faith. Not because you are worthy salvation. Notice Ephesians 2:8-9 WEB: " 8 for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, that no one would boast." You cannot lose salvation but a Christian can fall back into the old sin nature.
Always remember, Jesus said, " I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but through me." identified in John 14:6 WEB. Believe that and put your faith in Him not religion, church, or anything else. Only by Grace are you saved by faith. All Christians in theory know this but cannot live like this, rely on the Holy Spirit. But nothing or no one can take you out of God's hand as seen in John 10:28 WEB: I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
Everything is forgiven and will be in eternity. Once again, moreover, God has saved you and now He has an inheritance in eternity. We are coheirs with Jesus our Lord and Savior and we are His ambassadors on earth. Together we pray for Jesus to come into your life as others have prayed with you. In Jesus Name, the only name You can be saved, amen. As we didn't see you acknowledge Jesus, we encourage you to study the salvation Jesus provides and then tell others. Blessings.
