Repentance

For making the wrong choices in life, politics, finances, and relationships, I repent for not listening to your voice and will. From this day henceforth my will is aligned to the will of God. I declare publicly. My Father which art in heaven, hallow be thine name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us our daily bread and forgive our trespasses as you forgive us our trespasses, lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for thine is your kingdom, your power and glory forever and ever amen.

We rejoice with you as you take this significant step of repentance and alignment with God's will. It is written in Acts 3:19 WEB, Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. Your decision to publicly declare your commitment to God's will is a powerful testament to your faith.

Remember the words of Jesus in Luke 9:23 WEB, He said to all, If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. This journey you've embarked on requires denying yourself and following Christ wholeheartedly.

However, we notice that your prayer, while heartfelt, did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 WEB, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

We encourage you to acknowledge Jesus Christ in your prayers, as He is the mediator between God and man. Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing our sins and asking for Your forgiveness. We thank You for the renewed commitment of this child of Yours to align with Your will. Guide them in their choices regarding life, politics, finances, and relationships. Help them to walk in Your ways and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. In Jesus Christ name we have access to your throne. We look forward to your response in faith confidently.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
