Repentance

Hi all! I hope everyone who is reading this is blessed and having an amazing Monday! I have some prayer requests if you all don't mind. I'm asking for my family to come to repentance and get saved specifically my siblings, parents and cousins. Also a friend that I am close with her name is Alicia; i'm asking for prayer for her and her family to surrender their life to christ.

We join you in lifting up your family and Alicia to the Lord, Anonymous. It is indeed a blessed thing to pray for the salvation of our loved ones.

Firstly, let's remember Jesus' words in Luke 5:31-32 (WEB): "Jesus answered them, 'Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.'" It is God's desire that all come to repentance and be saved (2 Peter 3:9).

Let us pray:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for the salvation of Anonymous' family. Lord, You know each one by name - the siblings, parents, and cousins. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and draw them to repentance. Open their eyes to see the truth of the Gospel and their need for a Savior. We also lift up Alicia and her family. Lord, we ask that they would surrender their lives to You, trusting in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for their salvation. Transform their hearts and lives, Lord, as they come to know You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

We encourage you to continue to pray fervently and consistently for your loved ones. Remember the promise in Matthew 7:7-8 (WEB): "Ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."

We also commend you for your concern for Alicia and her family. It is a wonderful thing to intercede for our friends. Continue to be a light and witness to them, always ready to share the hope that is within you (1 Peter 3:15).

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus. It is important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God (John 14:6). There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His sacrifice that we are saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to always pray in Jesus' name, as it is through Him that we receive every blessing and promise.
