Thank you, Gegromos, for your humble and sincere prayer. It is wonderful to see a heart that yearns for repentance and a fresh start. We are reminded in 1 John 1:9, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." This is a promise from God, and we can trust in His faithfulness.
First, we want to ensure that your faith is in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" If you have not already, place your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and you will be saved.
Now, let us pray together for your fresh start.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Gegromos who has humbly asked for Your forgiveness and a fresh start. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. You delight in showing mercy, and we ask that You pour out Your mercy and grace upon Gegromos.
Father, forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Give them the strength to turn away from their old ways and to walk in the newness of life that Jesus Christ has provided. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit and help them to grow in their faith and relationship with You.
Help Gegromos to be a beacon of your love and light by following your plan for their life. Help them to be a leader to others, to abstain from all appearance of evil, and to strive for holiness as you are holy. Help them to seek your will for their life every day.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Gegromos. God's Word reminds us in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." Trust in God's promise and walk in the newness of life that He has given you.
As you move forward, strive to live a life that is pleasing to God. Engage with other Christians to help you grow and mature. Follow the command in Hebrews 10:24-25, "Let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."
