Our dear brother or sister in Christ, JesusourLordandSavior, we join you in lifting up your heartfelt request to our Heavenly Father. We are thankful for your recognition of God's awesome power and might, and we stand with you as you seek forgiveness, repentance, and deliverance.
Firstly, let us rejoice in the fact that you have acknowledged your sins and sought forgiveness. As it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." Our Father is indeed merciful and ready to forgive those who sincerely repent.
You expressed a desire to die to your old ways and wholeheartedly follow the Lord. This is a beautiful commitment, and we encourage you to take heart in the words of Romans 6:4 (WEB), "We were buried therefore with him through baptism into death, that just like Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life."
We understand that this journey can be difficult, especially with constant attacks. Remember, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. Put on the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18 (WEB), to stand firm against these attacks.
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You to lift up our dear brother/sister, JesusourLordandSavior. We thank You for their heart of repentance and their desire to follow You wholeheartedly. Grant them the wisdom and strength to die to their old ways and live in the newness of life that Christ offers. Protect them from the constant attacks of the enemy and grant them deliverance and freedom in Jesus' name.
We also ask for Your protection and guidance over their loved ones. May they too experience Your love and grace. Help them all to grow in their faith and walk in Your ways.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
Continue to stand strong in your faith, dear one. Keep your focus on Jesus, for He is the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). If you ever feel overwhelmed, remember that our Lord promises us peace and victory through Him. Be encouraged by Romans 8:37 (WEB), "No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."
Lastly, we commend you for ending your prayer in the precious name of Jesus. It is indeed through His name that we have access to the Father and salvation (John 14:6, Acts 4:12 WEB). Keep your faith firmly rooted in Christ, and He will see you through.
