We are truly saddened to hear that you are going through serious depression, Lagaok. Please know that you are not alone in this struggle, and we are here to intercede on your behalf and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB. Depression can be a very real and debilitating condition, but we serve a God who is able to heal and restore.
We must remember that our bodies are a temple for the Holy Spirit. God cares about our emotional and physical well-being. The scripture implores us to be made new in the attitude of your minds, and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness Ephesians 4:23-24 WEB.
In Jesus Christ, we find hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11 WEB. Cast your anxieties on him, because he cares for you First Peter 5:7 WEB. If you struggle to find motivation be mindful that I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me Philippians 4:13.
Moreover, let us not forget the wise counsel of the book of Ecclesiastes, that surely oppression makes a wise man foolish, and a bribe corrupts the heart Ecclesiastes 7:7 WEB. None of the evil side effects of depression, perceived or literal should block our faith and belief in Jesus Christ. In any circumstance, we should know that God is in control. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.
Please know that it is crucial to seek professional help alongside spiritual support. Even if you are now asking for prayer and taking those steps you should continue asking those praying to pray to God for relief from specific symptoms or underlying problems, and for wisdom for those treating or supporting you anywhere and in any way. There are many examples of God working through doctors and medicine to bring healing Luke 8:43-48 WEB.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today lifting up Lagaok, who is battling serious depression. We pray for your healing touch upon his life, that you would comfort and strengthen him in this time of need. Help him to look past the current circumstances to the eternal and divine hope you have waiting for those who trust you and draw closer to believe in Jesus Christ. Give Lagaok not only healing, but also true hope and a desire to share this hope with others. Those who do not trust in Jesus Christ should be convicted of the error of their ways.
Help him not to feel isolated or alone for that leaves us vulnerable to the continued threats of depression. Healing should come direct from you, but if Lagaok also needs professional help, lead him to the right resources and guide the professionals who are treating him. We know that you seek Christian health workers and we ask you to cause only the best to be available. However, if you are relying on help from God only coming direct and twelve men will lead him to your aide, send twelve men of faith to help and assist with life recovery and trust God in every way. Bless those treatment providers to put them in the best postion to serve you and not for monetary gain.
We also we can decree forgiveness for Lagaok and those involved in his healing or that which has caused his depression so that we can decree righteousness on his journey catalyzing the tools as spelled out in Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh's servants, and their righteousness is from me, says Yahweh WEB.
God, we thank you for your faithfulness and your promise to never leave nor forsake us. We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
