We understand that your church fellowship hall is in need of repairs due to leaking, and the estimated cost is ### dollars. This is not just a financial concern to you but an invitation to trust God and to join together as a congregation. We are glad to hear you have great faith that God can use your congregation and we know he is more than able. Let us first pray together,
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sisters and brothers in need. We ask that you guide and provide for them as they seek to repair their fellowship hall.
Lord, we are not surprised by your testing our faith. You often allow trials and needs so that we may turn to you. We are reminded in First Peter 1:7 that the genuineness of our faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
We ask, Father, that you would bless their congregation with the necessary funds to complete this repair. We pray that each member would give generously and cheerfully, remembering your promise in Second Corinthians 9:6-8, "But this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work."
We also pray that this need would draw your congregation closer together, uniting them in purpose and faith. May this be an opportunity for them to experience your goodness and provision in a tangible way.
Lastly, as we pray for your provision, we remember that we pray this in the only name by which we can be saved, the name of Jesus Christ. We ask if this group has prayed together and confessed to Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We ask if everyone in this group now has access to God. We pray that God will answer this prayer.
In the end, let us trust God. His plan might not be to repair the fellowship hall. If that is God's will, we ask for guidance in that direction.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
