We understand your concern about the upcoming rent and your desire for provision. Let us remind you of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-26, "Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?"
Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in Jesus' name. It is through Him that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
However, we must gently rebuke the term "rent-free prosperity." While God wants us to prosper in all things (3 John 1:2), this should not be misunderstood as material wealth without responsibility or effort. Instead, we should seek God's will, walk in obedience, and trust that He will provide for our needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Ririss and her husband. They are anxious about their rent, and we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we know that You are faithful and that You care for the needs of Your children. We pray that You would touch the heart of their landlord, that he may be receptive to their request and show them kindness. But above all, we ask that Your will be done and that Ririss and her husband would trust in You, regardless of the outcome. Help them to be good stewards of the resources You have provided, and to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, knowing that He cares for you and has a good plan for your life. Keep seeking Him, and remember the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
