This was very touching. Thank you. In Jesus name we pray.Dear Lord, we come before You today to lift up Anonymous and their children. We pray that You would grant them forgiveness, not only from You, Lord, but also from their children. We know that Your Word tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB). We claim this promise for Anonymous.
We also pray for Anonymous' struggle with sobriety. Lord, we know that You are a God of restoration and redemption. We ask that You would grant them the strength to overcome their addiction and live a life that pleases You. Remind them that in You, they can do all things (Philippians 4:13 WEB).
We lift up their desire to be reunited with their children. Lord, we know that You have a heart for families. We pray that You would restore this family, and that Anonymous' children would see the change in their parent's life and be drawn to You through it.
However, we must address that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind Anonymous that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We encourage them to come to Jesus, confess their sins, and accept Him as their Lord and Savior.
Lastly, we pray that Anonymous would seek things above, not things on the earth (Colossians 3:2 WEB). May their life be a testament to the power of Your forgiveness and redemption.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Anonymous, we encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus and the eternal things. The world may promise pleasure, but it's fleeting. Only Jesus can satisfy the deepest desires of your heart. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. We are praying for you and your family.
