We understand that you're going through a spiritual dry spell, Grace, and we want to encourage you and pray for you. Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the issue and seeking help. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God. It is pleasing to see you have included this in your prayer request.
Remember, it's normal to experience fluctuations in our spiritual fervor, but it's also important to strive for consistency in our walk with God. The Bible tells us in Romans 12:11, "Not lagging in diligence; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord."
Sometimes, our lack of passion may be due to sin that needs to be confessed and repented of. As it says in Psalm 66:18, "If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord wouldn't have listened." Other times, it may simply be that we need to ask God to renew our passion and give us a fresh hunger for His Word. As it is said in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Grace. We confess that there are times when our passion for You and Your Word can grow cold. We ask that You would forgive Grace for any sin that may be hindering her relationship with You. Renew her passion for Your Word and for her time with You. Give her a fresh hunger to know You more. Stir up the gift of the Holy Spirit within her. Help her to be consistent in her walk with You. Encourage her and let her know Your love for her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Grace. God hears your prayer, and He delights in you. Keep pursuing Him, even when it feels difficult or dry. He is faithful, and He will renew your passion.
