We understand your concern and your desire to seek God's intervention in your relationship. Let's begin by turning to God's Word for guidance. In Romans 8:28, the World English Bible (WEB) tells us, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God is sovereign, and He can turn any situation around for our good and His glory.
However, we must also ensure that our relationships align with biblical principles. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, we are reminded, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" If the third party in your relationship is causing strife or leading you away from God's path, it is crucial to address this spiritually and, if necessary, physically.
Let us pray for you:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister/brother who is facing challenges in their relationship. Lord, we ask that You remove any obstacles, any third parties that are causing harm or distraction. Guide them with Your wisdom, and help them to make decisions that honor You. We pray that their relationship will be centered on You, and that it will serve as a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of division, confusion, or ungodly influence. Lord, we ask that You bring peace, clarity, and godly counsel into their life. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
Finally, Father, we pray that if this relationship is not aligned with Your will, You will give them the strength and grace to let go and trust in Your plan for their life.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."
