Remove my child’s father from our life

My child’s father has been mentally and philosophy abusive to me and my child! He’s trying to get full custody! I need prayers for him to just leave us alone and that he’s not granted full custody! My child is not safe in his care and I want the best for her! She has picked up, guns, drugs, in his care I just want him out of our lives for good!

We are truly sorry to hear about the situation you are facing with your child's father. It's important to remember that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Psalm 46:1-2 WEB.

Firstly, we want to address the fact that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB. We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, as He is the only way to be saved from our sins.

Now, let's address your concerns. It's clear that you and your child have been through a lot, and it's important to seek God's protection and guidance during this time. The Bible tells us that God is the judge, and He will do what is right. We need to trust Him in this situation, knowing that He loves you and your child more than anyone else.

In cases where there is a history of abuse or an unsafe environment, it is important to seek help from the authorities and the legal system. The Bible tells us that the government is a minister of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for it does not bear the sword in vain, for it is a minister of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil. Romans 13:4-5 WEB.

However, we must also remember that God hates divorce Malachi 2:16 WEB, and we should not pursue a complete removal of the father from the child's life without considering the impact on the child and the possibility of reconciliation, but that is only if he is willing to repent from his ways and live according to God's word.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother and her child to You. Lord, You see the situation they are in, and You know the pain and suffering they have endured. We ask, Lord, that You would intervene and protect them from any further harm.

Father, we pray that You would soften the heart of the child's father and bring him to a place of repentance. Help him to see the error of his ways and to seek Your face. We pray that he would become the father that You have called him to be, and that he would love and care for his child as You intend.

Lord, we also pray for this mother, that You would give her the strength and courage to face this situation. Help her to trust in You and to know that You are fighting for her and her child. Guide her steps and give her wisdom as she navigates this difficult time.

Ultimately, Lord, we ask that Your will be done in this situation. We trust that You know what is best, and we ask that You would bring peace and resolution to this family.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful, and He will not forsake you. Trust in Him, and He will guide you through this storm. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. If the father is guilty of the accusations, the scripture condemns his actions. Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord Ephesians 6:4 WEB. It is important that all verbiage about God and Jesus Christ are capitalized as a sign of respect. Also remember it is written that you shall not bear false witness against your neighbor Exodus 20:16 WEB.

Let's keep our focus on Jesus, the only way to the Father. He loves you and your child more than anyone else, and He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We claim His promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We ask God to intervene, protecting you and your child from further harm. We pray for your child's father, that God would soften his heart and bring him to repentance. May he become the father God intends him to be, loving and caring for his child. We also pray for you, dear mother, for strength, courage, and wisdom as you navigate this difficult time.

Let's trust in God's faithfulness. He won't forsake you. Keep praying, keep trusting, and remember, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). We're in this together, and we're believing for a peaceful resolution. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
