We understand that you're dealing with intrusive thoughts about your former manager, and it's causing you distress. First, let's address the spiritual aspect of your request. It's important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB
However, we must be in relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ to fight spiritual battles.
**God wants us to bring every thought captive** " casting down imaginations, and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ;" 2 Corinthians 10:5 .This means we have the power, through Christ, to control our thoughts and not let them control us.
When you find these thoughts invading your mind, cast them down, saying out loud "I rebuke these thoughts in Jesus name and cast them down"** submit your thought to God .
It is only by the name of Jesus can one be saved. We do not use any other name to approach God. This is why Jesus came to earth as a man, died on the cross, and resurrected. He became the final sacrifice, the mediator between God and man so we could have a path to God. In John 14:6 WEB, Jesus says,
"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one would come to the Father, except through me.". Jesus had to die for us to be able to live.
**If this man is trying to contact you, or you with him, this needs to stop. It is not appropriate to be connected with member of the opposite sex that you are not married to.**
If you are not married, you should be focusing on a preparing to find a spouse, a Christian spouse. "Do not be yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"
Break off all ties with this man and focus on your relationship with God. Seek out Christian community and fellowship

We're here with you, standing in the gap. Let's keep those intrusive thoughts at bay together. Remember, we have the power to control our thoughts, not the other way around. It's like Paul said, "Take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ" (2 Corinthians 10:5). So, let's do this. When those thoughts creep in, let's say out loud, "I rebuke these thoughts in Jesus' name and cast them down." Let's submit them to God and trust Him to fill that space with His peace and wisdom.
Also, we've been thinking about something else. It's important to surround ourselves with good, godly influences.
