We understand that you're struggling with intrusive thoughts about your former manager and feeling distressed because he cannot let you go and you need help disconnecting. First, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our thoughts and mental well-being. The Bible tells us to take every thought captive to obey Christ.

The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister/brother who is dealing with intrusive thoughts and feelings of distress. The situation with their old manager is interfering in their mental health. We all have had people and situations that we wished to remove from our thoughts. We pray Lord for wisdom and sense of peace. Please, Lord, according to Your Word, help her/him take their thoughts captive. Disengage mentally, emotionally, and spiritually from their old manager. Set up a hedge of protection around her/his mind, and bring peace and clarity. Help her/him answer the call that we all have: casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Help draw near the the all powerful God who resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray.

We encourage and remind to focus on what is true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, commendable, and excellent.

Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, Honest. whatever things are just, pure. whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things.

Rebuking of any fantasies is important. There are lots of unintentional relationships that can develop for many reasons. Both people should strive to live and walk holy as unto the Lord. If any unholy holds to the situation have developed, they should be confessed to God and repented from. Remember, there is overcome anything any situation with Christ.

When praying about relationships, we need to use the Word of God. Because we have to beware and keep away from temptations one would need to self examine. Just because someone has desire, does not mean it is God's will. If a person feels pulled or drawn toward another and feels God sanctioned or blesses it, does not mean it is God's will. When our will and God's will agree then there is a blessing. We have to know what God's will is and that comes from believing and obeying the Word, putting it into practice. We need to cultivate a relationship with Christ and spend time with Him daily. Putting God first is the first step so that we can grow and start thinking about getting married. Remember, just because the temptation is great and the desire is greater does not mean that it is God's desire for our lives. People who desire a marriage partner should only consider other Christians as possible mates. We need to remind to become successful with their calling, look towards starting a family. They may consider courting with the goal being marriage.

Their prayers will be answered because God cares and God knows our wants and needs in Jesus' Name. We do not know if our sister/brother is a Christian nor believing in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is only by Jesus Christ can we saved so we can come into God's presence. There is no other name by which which we can can be saved. If you do not believe then pray this prayer, Lord, I believe that Jesus is your son. I believe that my sin was the cause Him to die on a cross. I believe because He paid the consequences of my sin, I don't have to. I believe that I have to repent and turn from any sin in my life and completely surrender to Jesus. I believe I have to ask Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. I believe He will come into my life and heart. So Lord, with my whole heart I repent and turn from any sin in my life and surrender it to Jesus. Jesus, please be my Lord and Savior. So Lord, I seek forgiveness of my sins. Please come into my life and heart and save me. In Jesus' Name I ask,

We're here for you, friend. It's tough when someone keeps invading our thoughts, especially when they've moved on from our life. Let's remember that God is in control, even of our thoughts. In Philippians, it says, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Let's focus on these things together.

We can also claim the promise in 2 Corinthians 10:5, "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." Let's pray that this manager's influence over your thoughts would decrease, and that God would help you think only on things that are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable.

Let's also pray for wisdom and peace. We know that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our thoughts and mental well-being. Let's trust that He has the best for us.
