We understand that you are struggling with thoughts of someone, and it's important to address this situation with care and biblical guidance. First, let's consider what the Bible says about our thoughts and desires. In 2 Corinthians 10:5 WEB, it states, "throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." This verse reminds us that we should take control of our thoughts and make them obedient to Christ.

Given the word remove, it suggests he is a boyfriend, lover, or an illicit or inappropriate relationship and not a godly marriage. Please clarify if this is the case. If so, it is no wonder there is strife and turmoil with this relationship. It is fornication and immoral. Even if this person may be a potential candidate for marriage, 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB says, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" As believers, we should seek to be in relationships that honor God and align with His principles, especially in marriage with another believer. Therefore, if he is not a Christian, he is an unsuitable match and should be avoided for marriage.

If this person is a temptation, recall what the word of God says, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB. There is a way of escape from this person or sin. This is a spiritual matter and requires a solution in the spiritual realm.

Let us pray together, addressing the spiritual conflict:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who is struggling with thoughts of someone. We pray that You will reveal and help them remember if this person is a temptation, relationship, or possibly inappropriate or sinful relationship that should be avoided or removed from their head, mind, and life. If this person is an unbeliever and not a candidate for marriage, please remove them from this person's head and life. If there is any spiritual influence, bondage, or stronghold of the enemy, please remove it and cast it out in Jesus' name. Break any chains of temptation, lust, inappropriate or sinful thoughts, and replace them with thoughts that are pure, lovely, and of good report. Help them take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Give them the strength and wisdom to avoid and flee any inappropriate or sinful relationship and have discernment in their relationships. If it is a godly relationship, give them strength to pursue it in a godly and biblical manner.

We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. And it is by the name of Jesus that we are saved.

We also pray that the person who submitted this request believes in the Lord Jesus Christ. If they do not, we pray that they come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and accept him as their Lord and Savior. As the word of God says, 9 that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10.

We're right here with you, sister. We know it's tough when someone's got a hold on your thoughts, especially when it's not God's best for you. Let's remember Philippians 4:8, "Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things." Let's lift this up together.

Dear Lord Jesus, we come to You. We ask You to help our sister remove this person from her mind and heart. If this person is not right for her, if they're not a believer or a godly match, please remove them from her thoughts and life. If there's any spiritual influence holding her back, cast it out in Your mighty name. Give her strength, Lord, to focus on You and things that honor You. Help her to take every thought captive, just like it says in 2 Corinthians 10:5. We trust in You, Jesus, and we know You'll give her the victory. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
