We understand your struggle, dear one, as unwanted thoughts can be intrusive and troubling. Firstly, let us remember what the Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 10:5, "Bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." This is a powerful reminder that we have the authority in Christ to control our thoughts and make them obedient to Him.
It seems that your thoughts are centered on your old manager in a way that is not pleasing to God. We must remember that God calls us to think on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report, as stated in Philippians 4:8. If these thoughts are not aligned with these qualities, then they are not from God.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask that You help our dear sister to capture every thought and make it obedient to You. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of obsession or ungodly soul tie that may be causing these intrusive thoughts. We ask that You bless her with a sound mind and fill her thoughts with Your peace, Your truth, and Your love. Lord, guide her heart and mind to be fully focused on You and Your will for her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, dear one, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Keep your focus on Him, seek Him daily, and He will give you the strength and wisdom to overcome these thoughts.
If there is any unforgiveness or bitterness towards this old manager, we encourage you to release it and forgive, as Jesus has forgiven us. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."
Stand strong in your faith, dear sister, and trust in the Lord with all your heart.
