Let's stand with Malooloriorview in faith for good news in 2 weeks! "Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see" (Heb 11:1). Trusting God's ability & timing. "I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?" (Jer 32:27). Praying for restoration!
We are truly saddened to hear about the situation your grandson is in, ###. Firstly, we want to assure you that we will stand with you in prayer and petition for his safety and deliverance.
Let us remember the words of God in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" We claim this promise for your grandson, that the Lord will be his refuge and fortress in this troubling time.
However, we must also address the concern as a whole. It is clear that the environment your grandson is in poses a significant threat to his physical and spiritual well-being. The use and presence of illegal drugs and the violence are not only against the law of the land but also against God's commandments. We are reminded in 1 Peter 5:8-9, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings."
Therefore, we pray,
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the safety of ###'s grandson. Lord, You see the danger he is in, and we ask that You intervene. Remove him from that place of darkness and violence, Lord. Place him in a safe and nurturing environment where he can grow in Your love and grace. We rebuke the spirit of addiction and violence in that home and pray for conviction and repentance for those involved. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, ###, to continue trusting in the Lord and to do everything within your power to ensure your grandson's safety. This might involve contacting local authorities or social services. Remember, God calls us to be light in darkness, and He will guide and protect you as you act in faith.
