We're here with you, Krenlian, lifting your husband up in prayer today. We've been thinking about your request and wanted to share some more words of encouragement and prayer.
Firstly, remember that God is always with us, even in the toughest times. As Psalm 147:3 tells us, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is close to your husband, healing and strengthening him.
Let's also remember that God is a God of transformation. In 2 Corinthians 3:18, we read, "But we all, with unveiled face, seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another." We pray that your husband would continue to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, growing in patience, respect, and dependence on God.
We also want to encourage you, Krenlian, to keep trusting in God. As Romans 5:3-4 reminds us, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Keep hoping, keep trusting, and keep praying.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Lord, we come before you today, asking for your healing and strengthening power to be upon Krenlian's husband. Help him to trust in you more, to be patient like Job, and to respect all those he comes into contact with. Help him to see his battles as you see them, and to depend on you to work things out for him. Draw him closer to you, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
