Please can I know the truth of the world and God. I am so afraid. Can I be mentally well please. I feel like I’m possessed after trying Reiki, etc, I’m of sub-Saharan African descent so do I have generational stuff that I don’t even know about curses, etc. I have been abusing my spouse, I have affected my children. I have been abusing them too, they have seen me, being angry, being abusive. I have been indulging in pornography. I have been a neglectful, selfish father. I am unkempt. I have overeaten. I have lied. I have not been working outside of the home and now fear the future. I have been in massive debt and am afraid of money. I have been abroad and caused trouble. I wanted to be a minister once but I am not sincere or selfless enough. Now I feel all my sins and the demon inside me is coming up as I cannot distract myself. I attempted suicide. I talk to myself. I trust no one. I yearn for love, connection and intimacy but I abuse my wife so I ruin things. My wife is tired of my behaviour and suffers. She was a Catholic but struggles. She works a very demanding job and I don’t respect it. I think she should be at home more with the kids but I cannot go out and provide in the way she can. Christmas exposes me and I feel the guilt of how I have been. I don’t trust that if I am healed I will not go off and make the same mistakes again so I remain ill. Scared to accept Christ because I don’t want to lose my material life? Scared to accept God or healing. What of my brothers and sisters from other faiths? Does God speak to his children in different forms. Some Muslims and Jews are some of the kindest people I have ever met. I cannot believe they will not go to heaven. God existed before Christianity did. I am tired and angry. I could write more but I get tired. Please just heal me of all my afflictions. Every one and then let me choose the right path for my family and myself. One with God? I can’t keep having these crises. Please if I don’t know what to do let God help me without me being ill. Please. I don’t want to lie anymore.

We understand your struggles and the pain you're experiencing. Firstly, we want to remind you that there is no true healing or deliverance without Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we can be saved and set free. As it is written "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved," Acts 4:12 WEB.

Your experiences with Reiki and other practices may have opened doors to evil spirits. The Bible warns us to avoid such practices. "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh," Deuteronomy 18:10-12 WEB.

Generational curses are real, and they can affect us if we or our ancestors have been involved in idolatry or sinful practices. "You shall not make yourself an idol, nor any image of anything that is in the heavens above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them; for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me," Exodus 20:4-5 WEB.

Your actions towards your spouse and children are not aligning with biblical principles. Marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman, and it should be honored and cherished. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word," Ephesians 5:25-26 WEB.

Pornography is a sin and a form of adultery. It defiles the marriage bed and leads to further sin. "But I tell you that whoever looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart," Matthew 5:28 WEB.

Lying, neglect, and abuse are also sins that need to be addressed. "Putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another," Ephesians 4:25 WEB. "Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord," Ephesians 6:4 WEB.

Fear not for your future, but trust in God. He will provide for you and your family. "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well," Matthew 6:31-33 WEB.

Remember, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness," 1 John 1:9 WEB.

Regarding your concerns about other faiths, remember that God desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Him. "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me,'" John 14:6 WEB.

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### to You. We plead the blood of Jesus over their life, their spouse, and their children. We rebuke any evil spirits that may be tormenting them and command them to leave in Jesus' name. We pray for forgiveness for their sins and ask that You cleanse them from all unrighteousness.

We pray for healing and restoration in their marriage and family. We ask that You give them the strength to put away their old selves and put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. We pray that they will be filled with Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

We ask that You provide for their needs and guide them in their future. We pray that You will give them wisdom and discernment in their decisions and that they will come to know the truth of Your word.

We pray for their salvation and the salvation of their family. We ask that You draw them to Yourself and that they will come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, and know that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide you. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future," Jeremiah 29:11 WEB.

Thank you. I am sorry for the anger and hurt I have caused and express. I am sorry. I cry often like a child and am very vulnerable but I act and speak like a horrible bully. I am critical and ignore good. Much of what I have done I did not knowingly do, as an affront to god I didn’t know or remember. The pain I caused was pain I suffered I was taught to hit so I hit. I was weak and confused and I thought if it felt good it was good. I am very very sorry. I didn’t think I was sinning as such and I thought I could get away with it. I have done worse things and maybe need confession as I think about these things often and then don’t want to move. I have really hurt my children, their school, myself.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
