We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with toxic co-workers, and we commend you for praying for their happiness and success, demonstrating Christ's love even in difficult circumstances. However, it's important to remember that our ultimate goal should be reconciliation and peace, not merely the removal of difficult people from our lives. As it is written in Romans 12:18, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."
Jesus said in Matthew 5:44, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you," and in Matthew 5:11, "Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake."
While it's natural to desire a more peaceful work environment, we should also pray for a change in the hearts of these co-workers, that they may come to know Jesus and exhibit the fruit of the Spirit, which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Shea and their workplace. We pray for the toxic co-workers, that their hearts may be softened and that they may come to know Jesus as their Lord and Savior for it is written in Acts 4:12 And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved. We pray for a change in their behavior, that they may exhibit the fruit of the Spirit.
In Jesus' name, we pray for peace in the workplace and wisdom for Shea and other Christians in the department, to be salt of the earth and light of the world so they may respond in love and grace, being the light the other employees need in their life.
We also pray for Shea and the department, that they may work in a peaceful environment, and to be shining lights of Christ Jesus. Help them to demonstrate Jesus' grace, mercy and love in their lives, attitude and words.
Finally, Lord, if it is Your will, please guide Shea to job opportunities with a positive and godly atmosphere if this job does not improve, particularly if this job is causing them constant unrest and turmoil.
Lord we pray all this in Jesus Name. Amen."
Continue to exhibit the love of Christ in your workplace, and trust that God will handle the situation in His perfect wisdom and timing.
