Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother Lealand Wray. Lord, we acknowledge that pride and self-reliance have been a struggle for him, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Your Word reminds us in James 4:6 that You give grace to the humble, and we pray that Lealand may be filled with humility and a deep sense of dependence on You.
Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your finished work on the cross. Help Lealand to fully trust in Your grace and not in his own efforts. As it says in Ephesians 2:8-9, "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast." May this truth resonate deeply in his heart.
Holy Spirit, we ask that You fill Lealand with Your presence, guiding him into a genuine and intimate relationship with God. Help him to rely on Your strength and wisdom, and to cast aside all pride and arrogance. As Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
We stand in agreement with Lealand, believing that You, Lord, will do what only You can do. Set him free from the chains of pride and self-reliance, and let him experience the fullness of Your love and grace. We thank You in advance for the transformation You will bring in his life.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
