We understand that you are seeking the Lord's help in reconnecting with a childhood friend who no longer remembers you. While it's natural to desire reconnection, we should first and foremost desire God's will and glory in all our relationships.
Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer 'In Jesus name'. This is important because as it says in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me'. It is good that you recognize this. As it says in John 16:23 WEB 'Most assuredly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you.'.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our ### who desires to reconnect with her childhood friend. Lord, You are sovereign over all relationships, and You knit our hearts together for Your purposes. We ask that You work in this situation according to Your will.
Lord, if it is Your will, please refresh her friend's memories and bring them back together. May this reconnection bring glory to Your name and serve Your purposes. Help them to catch up on their lives and perhaps kindle a friendship that honors You. We pray that You guide and direct them in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake. Amen.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord's timing and will. Remember Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
It's important to remember that while reconnecting with an old friend can be exciting, our primary focus should be on glorifying God and living according to His will. If the friend is not a Christian, be a light of hope and love for the Gospel.
It may be a good idea to reach out to this friend and share your memories. This could help build a bridge for the future. Make sure to be a good listener and a good friend.
