We are truly sorry to hear about the pain you are experiencing, Cewall, and we want you to know that we are here to support and pray with you. While we understand that you are worn out and tired, we want to remind you that your life is precious to God. He has a purpose and a plan for you. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
In your pain, we encourage you to keep trusting in God's strength. Even when we feel like we can't go on, He is there to carry us. Like the Apostle Paul, who had a thorn in his flesh, we should be content with weakness to be with Christ and strong with Christ. God had told Paul, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore, he boasted all the more gladly about his weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on him. 2 Corinthians 12:9.
Regarding your friend, we understand that you miss her dearly and we trust in Jesus' words, "but I say to you that I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on, until that day when I will drink it anew with you in my Father's Kingdom." Matthew 26:29. Because of the cross, we will see her again, but I will pray in Jesus name that you will have more days on earth fulfillling the purpose God has for you.
We also want to address your desire for Jesus to come and get you. While we understand your sentiment, we want to encourage you to find hope and purpose in your current life. God has much for you to do, and we believe that He will give you the strength and endurance to continue. Remember, even in our darkest moments, God is with us and will never leave us..
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, IJN, lifting up Cewall. Lord, You know the pain he is experiencing, and You understand his weariness. We pray that You would give him a renewed strength and hope. Help him to see that You do have joy for him on this earth and the next. We also pray for his friend. We ask that You would comfort him in his longing to see her again and remind him of the hope of the resurrection.
We are thankful Cewall IJN pronounced over his request, and thankful that he knows where the power and hope lies in Jesus saving grace. We know that that name of Jesus is above every name and the only way to get to God is through Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you, Cewall, to seek medical help along with prayer. God has given us wisdom and knowledge in the medical field to help us in our afflictions. Do not hesitate to use medicine while praying in faith to God.
