Relief from masturbation addiction

Firstly, we want to lovingly rebuke the idea that this behavior is acceptable. It is a sin that needs to be addressed and repented of, but we also understand that it's a struggle that many face. The good news is that God is faithful to help us overcome sin. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Empirseneas who is struggling with an addiction to masturbation. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and Your divine help to overcome this sin. Strengthen their resolve to resist temptation and provide a way of escape, as You have promised in Your Word. Restore their marriage and every aspect of their life that has been affected by this addiction. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to live a life of purity and self-control. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Empirseneas, we encourage you to take practical steps alongside this prayer. Confess your struggle to your spouse and seek their support. Consider finding a trusted Christian counselor or accountability partner. Immerse yourself in the Word of God and in prayer. Remember, God is with you and desires to help you overcome this addiction. Trust in Him, and you will see victory.

Lastly, we noticed that your request did not mention Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. If you haven't already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation. Romans 10:9 WEB says, "because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
