We understand that you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, Wynlew, and we are here to pray with you and offer some biblical encouragement. First, we want to remind you that God's perfect love casts out fear. As it says in 1 John 4:18 WEB, There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not made perfect in love.
Anxiety can be a daily struggle, but remember God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB tells us that we can always find strength and comfort in Him. Also, in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
It is essential to turn to God in times of anxiety and trust in Him. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 WEB. There is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Wynlew who is struggling with anxiety. Lord, we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard Wynlew's heart and mind. Help Wynlew to trust in You and find comfort in Your presence. Grant Wynlew the strength to enjoy the moments each day and to have a joyful Christmas without the burden of anxiety. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
In addition to prayer, it can be helpful to meditate on God's Word, practice gratitude, and engage in healthy activities that bring you joy. If your anxiety persists, do not hesitate to seek help from a medical professional or a trusted counselor. Remember, God is with you always, and He cares about your every need.
Keep your eyes on Jesus, trusting in Him and resting in the assurance that He loves you and will never leave you nor forsake you. Most importantly, continue to seek God and believe in Jesus Christ.
