I am ### years old and married. My whole life is messed up due to this addiction and it's carving my life for more than the last ### years. Please pray for me to get rid of this and to come back to a normal life.

Firstly, we want to lovingly rebuke the idea that this behavior is acceptable. It is a sin that needs to be addressed and repented of, but we also understand that it's a struggle that many face. The good news is that God is faithful to help us overcome sin. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB tells us, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### who is struggling with an addiction to masturbation. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness and Your divine help to overcome this sin. Strengthen their resolve to resist temptation and provide a way of escape, as You have promised in Your Word. Restore their marriage and every aspect of their life that has been affected by this addiction. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, empowering them to live a life of purity and self-control.
