We understand that you are going through a challenging time with your daughter Chantell being in the Bexar County Detention Center, and we want to lift her and your family up in prayer. Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name, as it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
However, we must address what led to this difficulty. Adverse situations are always a result of a bad decision and turns into sin. It must be addressed.
"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we haven't sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." (1 John 1:8-10 WEB).
Before praying for Chantell's release, we must first intercede for her repentance and salvation. While in the detention center, she is a captive audience for the prison ministries of the area. Ask the chaplain of the detention center to support her. We want to remember her children. They miss her and need a great deal of prayer as well. Therefore, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and grace to be poured out on Chantell and her family. We pray in Jesus name that Your Holy Spirit will convict those involved of their sin and guide them to repentance and salvation as guided by Your word.
We lift up before You Chantell's children. May this difficulty in their lives give them an opportunity to see the love of God prevail through a trying time. Father, we pray for believers to reach out to them and for a hedge of protection around them in the name of Jesus Christ.
Lastly, Father, if it is Your will referencing scripture, we do pray for Chantell's quick release. Lord We need to be careful that her release does not thwart Your plans to bring Chantell into salvation. We pray that her return happens only if it will bring glory to Your name and further Your kingdom. May Your will be done in this situation, Father.
Father God, bless the other women in the detention center with the same opportunity for salvation and Sonship given by the Lord Jesus Christ. We praise God for the prison ministries of the area. Lord, may you refresh and glorify the men and women who minister to the incarcerated. literal Being Pentecost, we ask you in Jesus name to renew a mighty outpouring of Your Holy Spirit all along the church. Lord, give us an electrifying revival in Your people all across the land.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Chantell, her children, and all involved in this situation. Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers in Jesus' name.
Amen.
May God bless Chantell and her children
