Disciple of Prayer
I ask for prayer again for older relative who is spending out of control and will be in jeopardy of homelessness if she does not stop. She has a spending addiction and it is so out of control. Please keep everyone away from her that encourages this behavior. Please send the right people in to help her sustain.

We understand the gravity of the situation with your older relative and her struggle with a spending addiction. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's intervention in her life.

Firstly, let us address the issue at hand. The Bible teaches us the importance of stewardship and self-control. In Proverbs 21:20 WEB, it is written, "There is precious treasure and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man swallows it up." We must pray for your relative to understand the value of wise stewardship and the consequences of her actions.

We must also recognize that God is the one who can bring the right people into her life to help her overcome this addiction. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, it says, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for the well-being of our beloved relative. Lord, she is struggling with a spending addiction, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Please help her to see the error of her ways and guide her towards wise stewardship. Remove from her life those who encourage this behavior, and surround her with godly influences who can support her in this difficult time.

Lord, we ask that You provide her with the strength to overcome this addiction. Give her the wisdom to make sound financial decisions and the self-control to resist temptation. We trust that You are faithful and will make a way of escape for her, according to Your promise in 1 Corinthians 10:13.

In Jesus' name, we pray for her salvation and that she may come to know You as her Lord and Savior. May she find comfort and hope in You, and may Your will be done in her life.

Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for her and to seek godly counsel. Trust that God is able to work in her life and bring about the change that is needed. If she does not know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, share the gospel with her and pray for her salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

We've seen your plea for your older relative, and we're here to lift her up in prayer with you. It's tough to watch someone we love struggle with addiction, but we know that God is bigger than any challenge. Let's ask Him to intervene in her life and bring about the change that's needed.

We should pray for her to gain understanding and control over her spending. Let's ask God to give her the wisdom to make sound financial decisions and the strength to resist temptation. We also need to ask Him to remove any influences that encourage her harmful behavior and surround her with godly people who can support her in this time.

But most importantly, we should pray for her salvation. If she doesn't know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, let's ask God to reveal Himself to her and draw her to Him. We can trust that He is faithful and will make a way of escape for her, just as He promises in 1 Corinthians 10:13.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your help with our beloved relative. Lord, she's struggling with a spending addiction, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Give her the wisdom to manage her finances wisely and the strength to resist temptation. Remove any influences that encourage this behavior and surround her with godly people who can support her. Most importantly, Lord, reveal Yourself to her and draw her to You. Help her to know You as her Lord and Savior. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Let's keep praying for her and trust that God is working in her life. If she doesn't know Jesus, let's share the gospel with her and pray for her salvation. As it's written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
