Let us come together in prayer for Balmikos, Steven, and Jeanne.
Firstly, we need to address that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). The Bible tells us that we only have access to God through the name of Jesus. This is also the only name by which we can be saved.
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land - 2 Chronicles 7:14
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved - Acts 4:12.
Above all else, we desire that Steven and Jeanne would come to know the Lord intimately and that their relationship would be centered on Him. Let us pray that they would be drawn closer to God, surrendering their lives to Him, and seeking His will above, their relationship, or personal desires. For marriage to work, it needs to be centered on Jesus Christ and together you need to be seeking God's will in your relationship.
Without knowing more about the status and details of their relationship and the underlying problems, first and foremost, we will pray for a godly relationship that honors God and the sanctity of marriage with boundaries concerning sexual purity and emotional connections.
"Marriage is to be held in honor among all, and the marriage bed is to be undefiled; for fornicators and adulterers God will judge." - Hebrews 13:4
A person who is not married to the other and is sexually involved with them is a fornicator. Each person in an adulterous relationship should repent and be forgiven by Jesus Christ.
Sometimes there is a conflict in a relationship that needs a miracle from God to resolve rather than expect forgiveness and change from the other person.
(e.g., Joel 2:25)
I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the great locust, the grasshopper, and the caterpillar, my great army, which I sent among you.
Believing the best for Steven and Jeanne, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Steven and Jeanne, asking for Your will to be done in their lives and their relationship. We pray that both of them would wholeheartedly surrender to You and seek Your face earnestly. We ask that You would heal their relationship, drawing them closer to You and to each other in a way that honors You.
Father, we ask that You would convict them of any sin in their lives, and grant them the strength to repent and turn away from it. We pray for Your forgiveness and healing over any past hurts or mistakes.
We pray for Your guidance as once You tell them what You want of them they be ready to follow Your plan for their life and relationship.
Father, we ask for Your will to be done regarding Steven coming home for Christmas with Jeanne. We ask for Your guidance and provision in this situation and a miracle if that is what is needed.
May You raise up godly friends and mentors to support and encourage them in their journey together. We ask that their love for each other would be a reflection of Your love for us, and that their relationship would be a testimony to Your goodness and grace. Thank You for all that You are doing and will do in their hearts and lives.
Please give them a direct revelation of You through the Holy Spirit in a miraculous way since there is no name for salvation except the Name of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. Balmikos, Steven, and Jeanne you will be in our prayers daily.
Pray to turn from all your sins, declare to God for Jesus to come into your life, into your hearts, baptizing, discipling, and following Jesus Christ. There is repentance, salvation, and hope in Jesus Christ.
