Heavenly Father, I come before you today to pray to remove me from a relationship with a nonbeliever. I am scared to leave it by myself but I seek your guidance and to pray to create circumstances to make us go apart in a peaceful manner. In Jesus name I pray amen.

We appreciate your heart's cry and your desire to honor God in your relationship. It is clear that you are seeking God's will in your life, and we want to encourage you in this.

Firstly, let's look at what the Bible says about being unequally yoked. In 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 WEB, it is written:

"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? What agreement has Christ with Beliar? Or what portion has a believer with an unbeliever? What agreement has a temple of God with idols?"

This scripture emphasizes the importance of being in a relationship with someone who shares your faith. It is a profound warning against being in a close relationship with someone who does not share your beliefs, as this can lead to compromises in your faith and cause you to turn away from God.

We commend you for recognizing the need to separate from this relationship. We understand that it can be scary and difficult to leave, but trust that God will give you the strength and courage to do so. He promises in Philippians 4:13 WEB:

"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."

Let us pray together for you:

"Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up our fellow believer who is seeking your guidance and strength. Lord, we ask that you give them the courage to leave this relationship that does not honor you. We pray that you create circumstances for a peaceful separation, and that you comfort and guide them through this time. In Jesus name we pray amen."

"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."
