We are so glad to join you in prayer for your significant other to come to a full knowledge of Christ. It is wonderful to hear that you are interceding for him and desiring that he grows in his relationship with God. We are reminded of the power of prayer in James 5:16, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."
As we pray for him, we also want to encourage you to consider the nature of your relationship. The Bible teaches us to be equally yoked with fellow believers (2 Corinthians 6:14), and while it is commendable that you are praying for his salvation, it is important to ensure that your relationship aligns with biblical principles. If you are not married, we encourage you to pursue this relationship as a courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow Christian believer, abstaining from intimacy until then. As Ephesians 5:3 reminds us, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up this significant other to You. Lord, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way, that he would come to a full knowledge of Christ, and that he would surrender his life to You. We desire to see that You would give him a hunger for God and a desire to be the Christian man that God designed him to be.
Lord, we also pray for the one who submitted this request. We pray that You would guide her in Your will for her life and that Your Word and Spirit direct her path. Give her wisdom to do what is righteous and pleasing in Your sight.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, our Heavenly Father. And it is by His name that we can be saved. As Acts 4:12 tells us, 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.'
Amen."
Continue to trust in the Lord and rest in His perfect timing. Keep praying and seeking God's will for both of your lives.
