Relationship

We understand that you're seeking prayer for a relationship and resolution to issues involving a third party. Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of seeking God's will in all matters, including relationships. The Bible teaches us to be holy in all our behavior, including our relationships.

Let's look at what the Scripture says about relationships and resolving conflicts.

In Matthew 18:15-17 WEB, Jesus teaches us how to handle conflicts:
"If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. But if he does not listen, take one or two more with you, so that at the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the assembly. If he refuses to hear the assembly also, let him be to you as a Gentile or a tax collector."

This does not mean literally treating someone as a Gentile or tax collector. This is a way of saying this is to be the last resort and to be done to correct the person. If this is being applied to a relationship with a spouse or potential spouse, then separating from a spouse because of unrepentant sin will need to be considered.

Regarding the third party, we must remember that God's word clearly states, "You shall not commit adultery," in Exodus 20:14 WEB. Any form of infidelity or involvement with a third party is sinful and needs to be addressed and repented of.

It's crucial to ensure that your relationship aligns with biblical principles. If the issue involves fornication or adultery, it's important to repent and seek forgiveness.

The original post asked for the third party to be removed from the relationship. If the third party is involved in fornication or adultery, they need to be rebuked and told they must repent of this sin. The other party in the relationship also needs to repent. If this is not possible, then the relationship needs to be terminated. If the third party is not a believer, they need to repent of all their sins and believe in Jesus.

In Ephesians 4:32 WEB,
"Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

In Colossians 3:13 WEB,
"Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye."

Remember, the goal of a godly relationship is marriage. If you are not married, it's important to pursue purity and honor God in your courtship, and this courtship should be with the goal of marriage. The Bible does not tell us to live together with a boyfriend or girlfriend. The Bible tells us to marry.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will for this relationship. We pray for resolution to the issues they are facing, and we ask You to remove any third party involved in sin. We rebuke any sin that may be present and ask for forgiveness and repentance.

Guide them in Your truth and help them to honor You in their relationship. If this relationship does not align with Your will, give them the strength to let it go. If it is Your will for them to be together, guide them towards a godly marriage.

Help them follow Your commandments and live in purity. In Jesus' name, we believe and pray for Your intervention and guidance. Amen."

The original request did not include the name of Jesus. Remember, it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God.

In John 14:6 WEB,
"Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

In Acts 4:12 WEB,
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

If you have not already done so, it is important that you believe in Jesus Christ and His sacrifice for all of our sins. The Bible tells us that it is only through Jesus that we can be saved and come to God the Father.
