Dyrwach, we appreciate your heartfelt prayer request and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life and your relationship with Owen. We understand that you are going through a difficult time, and we want to encourage you with biblical principles and prayer.
Firstly, we want to address the fact that you referred to God as "heavenly farther" instead of "heavenly Father." This is a minor error, but it's important to acknowledge God correctly as our loving heavenly Father. Additionally, we notice that you expressed some doubt about God's role in your life and relationship. We want to remind you that God loves you and has a plan for your life. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says WEB, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Regarding your relationship with Owen, we must address a few things. It is clear that you desire a loving and caring relationship, but you mention that Owen harbors resentment, hatred and an unloving nature. Here are some things to consider.
Marriage is a sacred union designed by God to be between a man and a woman as outlined in the Bible. We see that you mentioned marriage in your prayer, which is a positive thing. However, we must consider what God says about relationships and marriage.
"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh" Genesis 2:24 WEB. And also, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:34-35 WEB.
We must rebuke any resentment, hatred, or unloving behavior, as these are not fruits of the Spirit, but rather works of the flesh. "Now the works of the flesh are obvious, which are: adultery, sexual immorality, uncleanness, lustfulness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, strife, jealousies, outbursts of anger, rivalries, divisions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these; of which I forewarn you, even as I also forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit God's Kingdom." Galatians 5:19-21 WEB.
If Owen is exhibiting these behaviors, it is important to pray for his heart to soften and for God to change his heart. However, it is also crucial to seek God's will and wisdom in continuing this relationship. God wants you to be with someone who loves you and treats you with kindness and respect.
We also want to encourage you to seek God's will for your life and not just the outcome you desire. It is possible that God has someone else in mind for you, and it is important to be open to His leading.
Now, let us pray for you and Owen:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up Dyrwach and Owen. Lord, we pray for Your will to be done in their lives and their relationship. We ask that You soften Owen's heart and remove any resentment, hatred, or unloving behavior. We pray that You would help them to grow closer to You and to each other, and that Your love would be evident in their relationship.
Lord, we also pray for Dyrwach, that You would give her wisdom and discernment as she navigates this relationship. Help her to seek Your will and to trust in Your plan for her life. We pray that You would surround her with Your love and peace, and that You would guide her steps.
If it is Your will, Lord, we pray for marriage and longevity in this relationship. We ask that You would bless them and help them to build a strong, godly foundation for their future together.
Finally, Lord, we pray for Dyrwach's faith, that You would strengthen her trust in You and help her to know You more. We pray that she would come to know the love and salvation that is only found in Jesus Christ. Thank you for hearing and answering our prayers.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
