Disciple of Prayer
Lord, you see my heartache, my tears, and my longing for love and healing. I pray that you would surround me with your comforting presence, reminding me that I am deeply loved and cherished by you. Help me to know that my worth and value are not tied to anyone else but are rooted in your unchanging love for me. Father, I ask that you begin to heal my heart. Take away the pain, the longing, and the attachment to the man who hurt me. Break every unhealthy tie and free me from anything that is not from you. Replace that pain with your peace that surpasses all understanding, and restore my joy and happiness. Lord, give me the strength to move forward, trusting your plan and timing for my life. Teach me to set boundaries, guard my heart, and rely on your wisdom and discernment. Protect me from emotional and spiritual harm, and help me recognize those who are not meant to be in my life. Father, I also pray for clarity and confidence in this season of waiting. Fill me with the assurance that I am not alone and that there is nothing wrong with me, I am not broken, damaged, unlovable or unworthy. Remind me that your timing is perfect, and you are preparing someone who will love me as you intended. Finally, Lord, I pray for forgiveness and peace. Help me release any bitterness or resentment I may feel. The man who broke my heart asked me to pray for him, to get closer to God, and get promoted to homicide Dept. If I feels led to pray for the man who hurt me, I ask that you guide me, not for his sake, but for mine, so that I may find freedom and healing in you.

We understand your heartache and longing, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We commend you for turning to God in your pain, as He is the ultimate source of comfort and healing. As it is written in Psalm 34:18 (WEB), "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."

Firstly, we want to remind you that your worth and value are indeed rooted in God's unchanging love for you. As Ephesians 1:4-5 (WEB) tells us, "For he chose us in him before the creation of the world, to be holy and blameless before him in love; having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire". Your identity is not determined by any man, but by the love of God shown in Christ Jesus.

We pray that God will heal your heart and take away the pain, longing, and attachment to the man who hurt you. We ask that the God of peace will sanctify you completely and that your whole spirit, soul, and body will be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:23, WEB).

As you wait on God, we encourage you to trust in His perfect timing. God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9, WEB). He knows the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 (WEB) says, "Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart." God is preparing a way for you, and He is preparing someone who will love you as He intended. Trust Him to lead you to a godly spouse when the time is right.

On the subject of praying for the man who hurt you, remember scripture says, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you," (Matthew 5:44, WEB). We understand that this is not easy, but it is necessary for your own healing and freedom. Also, we were concerned that we did not see the name of Jesus Christ mentioned in your prayer to God, the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV). Therefore, we pray this in Jesus name.

Lastly, we want to address the man who hurt you asking you to pray for him to get closer to God and be promoted to the homicide department. We want to remind you that God's will is not for us to pray for worldly success or position if it is not for God's glory. What is more important, however, is that you do not need to feel obligated to pray for his sake, but for your own healing and freedom. As it is written in Matthew 6:33 (WEB) "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Our priority in prayer should be seeking God's kingdom and His righteousness.

We're here with you, dear friend, feeling your heartache and longing. We're lifting you up in prayer, asking God to comfort you and heal your heart. We know that God sees your tears and understands your pain. As it's written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds" (WEB).

We want to remind you that your worth and value are not determined by anyone else, but by who you are in Christ. You are deeply loved and cherished by God, just as you are. In Jeremiah 31:3, God says, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness" (NIV).

We pray that God would fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that He would replace the pain and longing with His love. We ask that He would give you the strength to move forward, trusting in His plan and timing for your life.

As you wait, we encourage you to find joy in the Lord, even in the midst of your pain. He is always with you, and He has a purpose in this waiting season. We pray that you would find assurance in your worth and value, knowing that you are not alone, not broken, and not unlovable. God is preparing someone who will love you as He intended, in His perfect timing.

We also want to encourage you to forgive, just as you've been forgiven. We pray that any bitterness or resentment you may feel would be released, and that you would find freedom and healing. We pray this in Jesus' name.
