We are truly concerned about your safety and well-being. The behavior you've described is not only against the law, but it is also against God's will for our relationships. God's design for relationships is one of love, respect, and mutual submission, as described in Ephesians 5:21-33 WEB:
"subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ. Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh. This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband"
The situation you are in is not God's will. It is clear that this man is not treating you with love and respect, and his threats are a form of abuse. God does not want us to live in fear or harm, but to be in relationships that reflect His love.
First, we pray for your immediate safety.
Dear Lord, please protect this dear woman from any harm. Give her the strength and wisdom to remove herself from this dangerous situation. Guide her to the resources and support she needs to be safe.
Next, we address the spiritual aspect. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" John 14:6 WEB. If you have not already, consider inviting Jesus into your life and trusting in Him for your salvation.
We also pray for the man who is harming you, that God would change his heart and convict him of his sin.
Dear Lord, we pray for this man who is causing harm. Convict him of his sin and turn his heart towards You. Help him to see the pain he is causing and bring him to repentance.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek help immediately. Contact local authorities, a trusted friend or family member, or a domestic violence hotline. God wants you to be safe and to live in peace.
Please do not stay in this situation. God has so much more for you. He has a plan to give you a hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, He will be with you in this situation and seek to honor Him in your response.
We are praying for you fervently.
Lord Jesus, we lift up this woman to You. Give her the courage to take the steps necessary to remove herself from this abusive situation. Guide her to the help she needs. Show her Your love and bring healing and restoration to her life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
