Let us first come together in prayer for you and your friend, seeking God's will and His healing power in your relationship.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Naleorrath and their friend to You. We pray, Lord, that You would mend this broken friendship and bring healing and understanding between them. We ask that You would reveal to Naleorrath the reason behind their friend's distance, and that You would give them the wisdom and grace to address it in a godly manner. We pray for their friendship to be strengthened and bound together in the love of Christ, and that it would be pleasing to God and a good influence on others. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We are encouraged by the words of Jesus in John 15:13 WEB: "Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends." True friendship is a precious gift, and it is wonderful that you are seeking reconciliation and a Christ-centered bond with your friend.
However, we must also be mindful of the boundaries that God has set for us in His Word. As friends, it is important to maintain pure and honorable interactions, avoiding any appearance of evil, especially if you are of the opposite sex. Remember the words of Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:22 WEB: "Abstain from every form of evil."
If your friend is not a Christian, it is also a good opportunity for you to share the love of Christ with them and to minister to their spiritual needs. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44 WEB: "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
If there are any sins that have been committed against you or by you, it is important to address them biblically, following the guidance of Matthew 18:15 WEB: "If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother."
Lastly, we must remember that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. It is in His name that we pray and intercede for others, as He is the one mediator between God and man. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,"
If your friend is not a believer, we encourage you to share the good news of the Gospel with them, that Jesus Christ came to save sinners and that He offers eternal life to all who believe in Him. As it is written in Romans 10:9 WEB: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus our Lord and the love of God the Father.
