Let us come before the Lord in prayer for Steven and Jeanne, seeking His will for their relationship.
Firstly, we must ensure that their relationship is aligned with biblical principles. We pray that if they are not married, that they would seek God's will for their future, considering marriage as the holy and honorable path for their relationship (Hebrews 13:4). If they are already married, we pray for a strengthening of their marital bond, remembering that "a cord of three strands is not quickly broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:12).
Let us pray fervently for their healing and reconciliation, knowing that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and that He desires marriages to reflect the love between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:25-33).
We also pray for Steven's swift and safe return home. We ask God to work in both of their hearts, drawing them closer to Him and to each other. May the Holy Spirit guide them and provide the wisdom and understanding needed to navigate their relationship (Philippians 4:7).
As we pray, let us remember the power of Jesus' name, for "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, so we pray all these things in Jesus' name.
Lastly, we encourage Steven and Jeanne to keep God at the center of their relationship, to pray together, and to study His Word. May they be reminded that "unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1).
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Steven and Jeanne. We ask for Your healing power to restore their relationship, and we pray for Steven's quick and safe return home. Help them to seek Your will for their future, and guide them according to Your Word.
Lord, may Your love be evident in their lives, and may their relationship be a testimony of Your grace and faithfulness. Draw them closer to You and to each other, and help them to remain steadfast in their faith.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
